"THE 12 APOSTLES" MERLOT MALBEC MATAKANA 2008 750ml Our most popular red wine is crafted from twelve special rows of vines we call "The Twelve Apostles". This is an earlier drinking version of its big brother "The Benediction", handcrafted using the same traditional techniques of hand plunging in open-top fermenters and aged in barriques. Structure - dry, moderately firm, medium bodied. Flavours - black cherry, plum, tobacco, toasty oak. From an excellent vintage with great drinking ahead!
